We are proud to announce that Stan Todman has been named Employee of the Year, recognising an individual whose commitment, professionalism and determination continue to set an outstanding example across the business.
Presented during the Clarke Summer Event and Awards Ceremony, the Employee of the Year award is selected from the previous 12 months of Employee of the Month winners. It celebrates colleagues who consistently demonstrate the behaviours, attitude and commitment that help make us a stronger business and a place to be.

He continues to highlight his proactive approach, positive attitude and determination to deliver on every commitment.
Since joining Clarke in November 2022 as a Trainee Site Delivery Manager, Stan has continually developed his knowledge and responsibility, progressing to Junior Site Delivery Manager while simultaneously undertaking higher education through his apprenticeship programme.
Alongside excelling in his role, he has successfully completed his Level 4 HNC Site Supervisor Apprenticeship and will begin a Level 6 Site Management Degree Apprenticeship later this year, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development.
Building a Career Through Learning
As a Junior Site Delivery Manager, Stan oversees the delivery of telecoms infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion, coordinating surveys, subcontractors, health and safety documentation, programme delivery and project handover across multiple live sites. It is a demanding role that requires organisation, communication and the ability to manage numerous moving parts simultaneously.
Reflecting on his journey with Clarke, Stan said:
“I’ve really enjoyed working at Clarke. From day one, the support has been excellent. I’ve been given the opportunity to learn, take on responsibility and develop my confidence, while knowing there’s always support there when I need it. Balancing work with my apprenticeship has been challenging at times, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to continue developing my career.”
His comments reflect the qualities recognised throughout the nomination process: a willingness to learn, an eagerness to embrace new challenges and a determination to continually improve. Those qualities have also been recognised through the Renew Holdings PLC Emerging Talent Programme, where Stan has represented Clarke alongside apprentices from across the Renew Holdings group companies, building knowledge, developing leadership skills and strengthening collaboration across the wider business.
Receiving the award came as a genuine surprise to Stan, who described the moment as recognition for the hard work and commitment invested over recent years.
“Winning Employee of the Year was an incredibly rewarding moment. There have been times when balancing work and university has felt challenging and sometimes overwhelming, so receiving that recognition made all the effort worthwhile. What meant just as much was hearing the support from colleagues afterwards. I’ve always thought of myself as someone who quietly gets on with the job, so it was incredibly rewarding to realise I’d made a bigger impact than I thought.”
